We’ve been beavering away this last year working on an expansion to Manchester, and developing the technology we use to make these listings to support other areas too.

We’re delighted to soft launch our Manchester expansion today with 25 groups in Manchester who are collectively listing about 10 events a week. This is about half the size of our London listings at the time of writing, but we’re confident this will only grow over the coming months.

If you’re in a Manchester group by or for trans people, and would like to join our site, please do get in touch. The Trans Dimension works on Geeks for Social Change’s PlaceCal platform that automatically imports events from what you’re already using (Google Calendar / Outlook / Eventbrite / RA / etc…) so once set up there’s nothing more to do.

If you’re based in another area of the UK and think you have capacity to roll it out in your area get in touch too and we work on something together in the new year.

The Trans Dimension is a shoestring community project and needs your support to make it easy for every trans person in the UK to get connected to their local community. Please do send us a one-off or regular donation if you can afford it with the “donate” button above. If any funders are reading this and want to support us we would also welcome that as our main source of philanthropic funding no longer exists.
