Spectra offers online and in-person social groups for trans and non-binary people, 1-2-1 peer mentoring, trans health advocacy, sexual health support and counselling.

Spectra’s Empowerment and Support Programme runs peer-led Non-Binary and Trans Groups. These offer a space for people across the trans and nonbinary spectrum, as well as those questioning their gender identity, to meet and connect with likeminded individuals. The groups provide a safe and welcoming environment to explore, discuss and support each other. The groups address a range of issues trans people face, such as social isolation, stigma, prejudice and transphobia, which can lead to gender dysphoria and poor mental health. Empowerment is a key feature of our social groups. We run online and in-person groups. You'll be sent information on joining after you fill out the application form on our website, and go through a short verification process.
